Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to be happy with what you buy. This page explains exactly when you can get your money back, in plain English.
This site is operated by Aditi Ojha, an individual proprietor trading as The Savvy Humanities, Howrah, West Bengal 711106, India.
The short version
Everything we sell is a digital download. Once a file has been downloaded it cannot be returned, so we do not give refunds simply because you changed your mind. But if something has genuinely gone wrong on our side, you get your money back in full.
When we will refund you in full
- You were charged twice for the same item
- Money was deducted but you did not receive the material
- You received the wrong file — a different subject, class or chapter from what you ordered
- The file is corrupt or will not open, and we are unable to fix it for you
- The material is materially different from what the product page described
In the first instance, please just tell us — most of these we can fix within a day by sending you the correct file. If we cannot fix it, you get a full refund.
When we cannot refund you
- You changed your mind after downloading or opening the material
- You bought the wrong class, subject or chapter by mistake (tell us anyway — we will usually swap it for the right one)
- You did not get the marks or result you hoped for
- You no longer need the material, or found it elsewhere
- You have shared, uploaded or resold the material
Cancelling an order
You can cancel any order before the material has been delivered to you, and you will be refunded in full. Once a digital file has been delivered, the refund rules above apply instead.
How to ask for a refund
Email hello@thesavvyhumanities.com within 7 days of your purchase, with:
- The email address and name used for the order
- The order or payment reference number
- What went wrong (a screenshot helps a lot)
How long it takes
We reply to every refund request within 2 working days. If a refund is approved, it is processed through Razorpay back to the same method you paid with, and normally reaches you within 5 to 7 working days. How quickly it appears after that depends on your bank or card provider.
