For Parents

Your child studies on this site, so you should know exactly who runs it, what information we keep, how AI help is kept safe, and when you can get your money back. Here it is in plain words.

  • Parent consent built in
  • No ads, no selling of data
  • Clear refund rules
  • A real person answers your email

1Who runs The Savvy Humanities

The Savvy Humanities is run by Aditi Ojha (Savvy Ma’am). She has taught CBSE Class 11 and 12 Humanities on YouTube since 2023. Her free video lessons currently cover Psychology, Sociology and Political Science, with more subjects planned. Notes and online tests are available for all 10 subjects.

Teaching since 20236,500+ studentsNotes and tests for 10 subjects

The site is owned and operated by Aditi Ojha as an individual proprietor, based in Howrah, West Bengal. Read about Aditi.

2What information we keep

  • To buy: a name, email address and mobile number, used for the account that holds the notes and downloads.
  • In tests: the answers and scores, so your child can review results in My Account.
  • In Ask a Doubt: the question typed, the answer, the chapter and the date, linked to a coded number instead of a name.

We never see or store card, UPI or net-banking details; Razorpay handles payments. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or show targeted ads. Read the full Privacy Policy.

3How parent consent works

Most of our students are in Class 11 and 12 and many are under 18. Indian law (the DPDP Act, 2023) asks for a parent or guardian’s permission, so checkout has a required tick: “I am 18 or older, or I have permission from my parent or guardian.”

  • Marketing updates are a separate box, unticked by default. Buying never signs anyone up for them.
  • You can email us to see, correct or delete your child’s data, close the account, or withdraw consent. It is free.
  • Easiest way: place the first order yourself, or sit with your child while they do it. You are welcome to use your own email and mobile number.

4How AI doubt help stays safe

  • Answers come only from Ma’am’s own notes and video lessons for that chapter. Off-topic questions are politely refused.
  • Your child’s name, email and phone number are never sent to the AI, and students are reminded not to type personal details.
  • Doubts are deleted after 180 days.
  • If a message suggests a student may be unsafe, the AI does not answer it. It shows the Tele-MANAS helpline (14416) and emergency number 112, and our team is alerted so that a person can follow up with the account holder.
  • The answers are prepared by AI, so for anything important please check with the textbook or Ma’am. A thumbs-down sends an answer to Ma’am for review.

5Refunds, in plain words

These are digital products, so a downloaded file cannot be returned and we do not refund a change of mind once material is opened or online access has begun. You get a full refund if:

  • you were charged twice for the same item;
  • money was deducted but you did not receive the file or access;
  • you received the wrong file or access;
  • a file is corrupt and we cannot fix it, or the product is materially different from its page.

You can also cancel before anything is delivered. Email hello@thesavvyhumanities.com within 7 days; we reply within 2 working days, and approved refunds return to the same payment method in about 5 to 7 working days. Read the Refund Policy.

6Where to start

The simplest option is a pass: all 10 subjects of one class with handwritten-style notes (PDF), online MCQ tests, and 30 AI doubts a month. Both passes are valid until 31 March 2027, and each product page lists the exact contents and access dates before you pay.

Not sure which class or subject fits? Start with Class 11 or Class 12, or try the free tests.

Questions about fit, safety or access? Email hello@thesavvyhumanities.com. Please also read the Terms, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy before ordering.
