Every mark-carrying chapter of Class 12 Sociology, in one book. Both NCERT books, all nine chapters, continuously numbered from page 1 to page 218 — not nine PDFs in a folder.

The nine chapters carry 80 marks, which is the whole written paper. (The subject’s remaining 20 marks are project work, assessed in your school — no notes book can do that part for you.) Checked against CBSE’s own 2026-27 curriculum document, subject code 039.

What makes it a book rather than a merge

  • One contents page listing all nine chapters with their unit number, mark weightage and page number — so you can see at a glance where your time is worth most
  • Continuous page numbering across both books, with a part divider for Book A and Book B
  • Cross-references are page numbers. Where one chapter points at another — the Jharkhand movement, the Bombay Textile Strike, the nineteenth-century reformers — it says “on page 83”, not “see the other file”
  • One combined glossary of 307 entries, alphabetical across the whole subject, each tagged with the chapter it comes from (A2 to A6, B1 to B8). Where a word means different things in different chapters, both meanings are listed
  • One question bank of all 104 board-pattern questions with model answers, grouped by chapter and labelled with their mark value
  • Searchable on a phone — one file to open, not nine

The nine chapters

Book A — Indian Society (40 marks)

  • Ch 2 · The Demographic Structure of Indian Society — Unit 2, 10 marks
  • Ch 3 · Social Institutions: Continuity and Change — Unit 3, 10 marks
  • Ch 5 · Patterns of Social Inequality and Exclusion — Unit 5, 10 marks
  • Ch 6 · The Challenges of Cultural Diversity — Unit 6, 10 marks

Book B — Social Change and Development in India (40 marks)

  • Ch 1 · Structural Change — Unit 8, 5 marks
  • Ch 2 · Cultural Change — Unit 9, 5 marks
  • Ch 4 · Change and Development in Rural Society — Unit 11, 10 marks
  • Ch 5 · Change and Development in Industrial Society — Unit 12, 10 marks
  • Ch 8 · Social Movements — Unit 15, 10 marks

Every chapter keeps its own mind map and its own revision tracker.

What is not in it, and why

Your NCERT books print more chapters than nine, and the book explains every gap on its own page rather than leaving you to wonder.

  • Removed from the 2026-27 syllabus — the paper cannot ask them: The Market as a Social Institution (Book A Ch 4), The Story of Indian Democracy (Book B Ch 3), Globalisation and Social Change (Book B Ch 6) and Mass Media and Communications (Book B Ch 7)
  • Still in the syllabus but non-evaluative — they carry zero marks: Introducing Indian Society (Unit 1) and Suggestions for Project Work (Unit 7)

The file

  • Format: PDF, A4 — works on a phone and prints cleanly
  • Length: 218 pages plus cover
  • Delivery: instant download link after payment, plus a copy by email
  • Free updates: if CBSE changes the syllabus or a correction goes in, the updated file is sent to you at no cost. You never pay twice.

Every page is handwritten-style, with highlighting, boxes and a mind map — built to be read the night before, not skimmed.
